Event F.A.Q.
While challenges don’t have to be completed on consecutive days, only one challenge can be completed per day (after the initial two challenges).
This means that you will need to play at least five different days to complete all of the challenges.
The Age of Empires III: DE Launch Celebration concludes November 3.
All you need to do is log into your Xbox Live account before the end of the event to keep all of the profile icons and mods you unlock; it’s as easy as that!
No problem! All you need to do is click your Profile Icon on the main menu, select Event Mods (under Collection), and then check the unlocked event mod you want to enable!
You can update your profile icon in your profile:
- On the main menu, click the Profile Icon next to your name.
- You should now be in the Profile Icons tab under Collections.
- Select your favorite icon, then click the Select Icon button to lock in your choice.
- You’re done!
For information about how to subscribe to and prioritize your mods, visit this article.
First off, make sure that you’ve signed into Xbox Live in both Age of Empires III: DE and in Age of Empires II: DE. This is required so the games can detect your achievement status.
The mod itself will not be automatically enabled in the game, so you will need to navigate to your Event Mods collection and activate it manually:
- Click your Profile Icon on the main menu.
- Select Event Mods (under Collection).
- Check the event mod you want to enable!
GAMEPLAY
General
- Fixed an issue where Villagers which began working before the discovery of the Wheelbarrow and Hand Cart would not be issued the tools, and thus would not benefit from their increased efficiency, until re-tasked.
- Restarting a scenario which enables the ‘Villager Force Drop’ setting will no longer activate that setting in standard games when tasking Villagers to collect another resource.
- Fixed a rare issue where Villagers would not collect the full resource value from a mine. An example is where a stone mine would be depleted after collecting 349 of the 350 stone normally available.
- Fixed a rare issue where buildings would disappear in the fog of war layer of certain campaign missions with the “shared visibility” flag enabled.
- Units in the “Land Battles” Art of War scenario will no longer be invisible (and consequently, counterproductive to teaching the concepts at hand)—another symptom of the above bug.
AI
General
- Fixed a rare issue where the Extreme AI would, without any strategic reasoning or clear benefit, choose to deploy units to the left corner of the map.
- Fixed a rare issue where the Extreme AI would, in certain circumstances, adopt a passive, non-violent philosophy of war until attacked.
Scripting
Age Of Empires Ii Definitive Edition
- sn-enable-patrol-attack now works correctly in combination with Town Size Attacks (TSA).
MODDING
Age Of Empires 1 Definitive Edition Cheats
Age Of Empires 2 Definitive Edition Xbox Achievements Release
- Audio mods will now take effect immediately without the need to restart the game.
- Fixed an issue where modifying a unit’s voice for a single civilization would silence that unit’s voice for any other civilizations not also present in the mod package.
